What inspired you to become a part of Diesel?
I was motivated to join Diesel when my daughter, Lily, started catching with Mat Nelson. He suggested she give Diesel a try. She did and loved it. I liked that their workouts were sports-specific and customized to the athlete's goals. I also saw firsthand the results Lily and Mat were both gaining from working out there.
What were your initial goals when you first started working with Diesel?
Honestly, I have been running and doing yoga for years, and I was ready to switch things up, add weights back into my routine, and build more muscle. So I figured, why not try it for myself?
What have been some of your most significant accomplishments since joining Diesel?
Since joining Diesel, one of my most significant accomplishments has been hiking Camel Back Mountain and Devil's Bridge in Arizona. Diesel prepared me from a strength and cardio perspective, but I may or may not have had a mini panic attack after I thought I was going to slide down the side of the mountain. I like to do at-sea-level activities.
What do you enjoy most about being a member of Diesel?
What I enjoy the most about being a member of Diesel, besides my workouts, is the sense of community. It feels like a second home.
